We want you to be happy
with your purchase. If you are not, please call us and we will make
sure that you are well taken care of. Customer service is our priority.
Forms of payment
We
accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. If you're
concerned about safety, you can rest assured that your credit card
number will be protected on our secure server. Our
secure server uses the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption, which
is the industry standard for e-commerce transactions. All of your
personal information is encrypted, including your credit card number,
name, and address. That means it cannot be read as it travels over
the Internet.
Shipping Policies
Sound
City Electronics Corp ships anywhere in the United States, including
Alaska and Hawaii. At this time, we have the following shipping
restrictions: We do not ship to Puerto Rico or any other U.S. territories.
We do not ship to Post Office boxes. We do not ship to APO/FPO addresses.
Heavy and oversized items are restricted to the continental United
States only. We do not ship to Canada or other International locations.
For all Electronic items shipped by UPS an adult signature is required
for delivery.
Shipping/Billing
Address
We
can Not ship your order to a different "Ship To Address" from
your "Credit Card Billing Address" unless you first call
the customer service phone number on the back of your card. Have
the card company list your "Ship To Address" in the "comments"
or "notes" section of your credit card account. This is for your
protection, as only you will be able to add this information to
your account. This will prevent someone else using your credit card
to "Ship To" an alternate address. Our representative will then
call and verify that you have posted this information to your account,
if it has not been done then we will not process or ship your order.
Warning
If
Credit Card Fraud is Suspected you will be reported to the proper
Authority!!
Confirming Price
Please
note that in very rare cases, an item in our online catalog may
be mispriced. The correct price will be verified as part of our
shipping procedure. If an item's correct price is lower than our
stated price, we will charge the lower amount and ship you the item.
If the price is higher, we will contact you and wait for instructions
before shipping. Please also note that after we have received your
order, we will inform you by e-mail if any items in your order are
unavailable.
When Will My Credit Card Be Charged?
Your credit card will not be charged until
we ship your order.
Sales Tax
Sales
tax is charged only on orders sent to the state of New Jersey. Laws
in that state require that we charge sales tax for the full amount
of the order.
Closeout Merchandise
We have added "Closeout" merchandise to our website. All of the Closeout items listed in this section are brand new merchandise, we do not sell any kind of refurbished or otherwise used products. However, the items listed under the Closeout section may be open box and/or display items that were showcased in our retail location. All units are in perfect working order.
If you purchase something that was "Closeout" (open box, sales, specials, certain deals, etc), there is NO MONEY BACK. Please remember All Sales are Final on closeout merchandise.
Return
Policy
Sound
City Electronics Corp. offers a 15-day refund policy for all products
purchased directly from us, excluding any shipping costs. Please
note that the product must be returned in "new" condition in its
still sealed original box and must include all original packing
material, original manuals, and any accessories that came with the
item. If any of these items are missing, we reserve the right to
charge a 10% - 15% restocking fee. We also offer a 30-day exchange
policy as long as the product is returned in "new" condition in
its original box and includes all original packing material, original
manuals, and any accessories that came with the item.
Before returning any products back to Sound City Electronics Corp.,
you must contact us to receive return authorization via email at:

or call 1 (201) 436-5338. Any items received without an RA # will
be refused.
Please
note also that you are required to pay for shipping/insurance on
any items being returned. This amount will not be credited back
to you.
Please
note that there are no returns or credit on installed car stereo
products. Exchanges can be made within 30 days provided that the
product is not scratched or damaged from abuse.
Please
note that there are no returns for video products accepted. Any
video products that need to be returned (televisions, camcorders,
dvd players, etc.) need to be returned directly to the manufacturer,
under their warranty.
If
you purchase something that was "Closeout" (open box, sales, specials, certain
deals, etc), there is NO MONEY BACK. Please remember All Sales are
Final on closeout merchandise.
Who pays for shipping?
The
customer who returns a product to Sound City Electronics Corp. must
prepay all shipping costs associated with the return of the purchase.
Shipping costs will not be refunded on any returned items.
What about refunds?
We
will notify you by e-mail regarding your refund once we have received
and processed the returned item. Refunds will be credited directly
to your credit card.
